Ever since the auto claim captain thing was built into the bot, ?go base really took a nosedive.

It's not entirely true that people with bot powers simply pick whoever jumps the gun - usually we try to pick better known players, so the game doesn't end up being terrible. While it may be true that MMaverick and other bot coders do not play ?go base, they're the only ones who can do something about the bots so we're at the mercy of their judgment.

If I may ask, why can't we have our old system back where we had people with access to bots start games? While there are a bunch of "add-ons" that I can think of, the easiest thing to do is to go back to when things were working and go from there. I'm not sure if it's because we wanted less help calls about base or whatever?

Nothing in that has changed. Previously if two morons volunteered for captain, the staffer that is starting ?go base would pick both as captain.

never happened when i set captains, a little common sense goes a long way in that situation.

- make it so when a game is dead bot kills game. So new person can !cap and an ad will come. (If cap doesnt pick in 10 min game dies?)

- make base to 15 min. People dont take it seriously because 10 finishes too quickly.

the "thing" about rank/stats of players is the key of tw.

tw is all about being the biggest nerd, so ppl argue all the time who is the most nerd squad the most nerd jav the most nerd wb.

Nerds will play all the time if they see they raise their stats/rank when they get better.
This is the success formula that rpg/mmorpg games use to make ppl play and tw has it naturaly but not based more on playtime than talent like any mmorpg.

Tw was allways based more on talent than playtime.

thats why everyone that still plays tw doesnt leave to wow or some other mmorpg.
