  • bias toward recorded solojav on non-league map

I'm getting worse at teaming, rustier, every day now that the changes to the bots have been made. Javduel currently advertises every 15 minutes when active, whereas belimbeta advertises every time a winner is made. ?go javs is completely shot, and nobody respects teaming there anyway. 9/10 times, people have to spam/pm the belim spec to get players in either of the league maps. Javduel gets 8 or 10 players, (10 actually being worse nowadays) and when someone does poorly, or leaves midround after belim advert to go play that, it becomes imbalanced with nobody in spec to sub. javduel is already tier2 jav teaming(at least nowadays) due to anonymous selection, so how are players wishing to learn teaming expected to make the gap? The increasing unfamiliarity with the league map and insistence on the arena where teaming is actually Illegal is stretching that gap, and at some point will reach an incontrovertible threshold where every squad 6-12 on the ladder (tier2) will be avid soloers and ruin jds for anyone in their squad with more experience. How about we switch belimbeta to advertise every 15 minutes when active instead, and javduel2 actually exist, with a javduelbot2, which auto-advertises when javduel has 18 people (actually advertising the winning teams title every time, so people can get clever and say 'come play javduel' as the team name)?

I know some of you may say why don't you just get a jding squad and stfu because people like the recorded solo arena finally being back. I am concerned for the skill curve thats becoming increasingly less likely to produce tier1 (1-6 ladder) multiplayers. I have doubled my playing hours (trying to find the hours when twjd and javduel are actually going on) and gotten half as good at teaming over this month or two. If you will trust my word on this, 75% of the time the only three arenas being played in TW are pubs, elimbeta, and belimbeta. I find myself pming people to please come play ?go javs, so I can warm up for jds, to very little avail. How is one supposed to recruit these days? Soloers kill jds! All this ego-trip buffing is...well let me make a parable out of it (yes I'm reverting to such desperation)...is like anal sex when we are needing to learn how to give females orgasms. Wrong place(map) and wrong intentions (self-center). I made this forum account right now on Pure_Luck's recommendation to get public opinion. Please tell me what you think about helping this dedicated player get some heavy unrecorded multiplayer javs going.

I would like to start the squad Optimal, and I am finding absolutely no way to seek valid observation of multiplayer-capable tier1 javers, doubting if they may even crop up anymore. Ascendency is being settled between ignite's paying for wins( love the guy anyway :/ ), and the coding insisting on useless javing.

For low-frequency excitation and confining particles modulated RF coils and high-voltage supplies are foreseen.

As a newbie Jav, I find it almost impossible to get teaming practice.

You just said soloers are killing jds, but you're always PMing people to come to ?go javs? Isn't that the place to play solo?

Javduel promotes team play, and belim promotes solo play. All ?go javs has ever done is split the population between belim and javs, and now that belim is finally picking up players, you aren't happy that ?go javs is dying?

I don't know if your idea or plan will work, because people will always be going to javduel, not be able to play, but then not enough players to start in ?go javduel2. There are players who will be very bad at javs and not getting any games in there, and belim allows those new players to make the transition into higher level play, so I really don't see this scheme working. Good effort though.

Immediately after this post, and campaigning for readers, javs filled up with 18 people, and javduel 19, setting belimbeta with only 2 players in - those who had been the final two remaining. This hasnt happened in several months! I agree javs is not the place to attempt to get teaming started, though my point for the warming up was the possiblity to change to teams freely there. as for javduel2 not having enough, that'd be the function for the auto-ad upon javduel getting 18.

javduel currently has 25 people. i dont know whos idea it was to take javduel2 away, but it's definitely not the answer to people being stuck in javduel spec.

belimbeta now has 7 people total, with 3 playing, with javduel and javs running a strong 20 each! I have never felt such greater gratitude for the will of our remaining javelins!

Disorder> oops i forgot to !Notplaying
Disorder> they should make the bot automatically set afk players there.

I believe fantus is the coder in charge. I hope he peruses the forums.

By the way, everyone is back in belimbeta, and the buzz for multi only lasted about an hour without a second javduel arena. this to me clinches that there was some collective effort to agree on the idea despite the lack of replies here. that could also mean people are in unanimous agreement. there was also some bit of an effort to make javduel look active. i noticed 10 people were set !notplaying within the half hour, and it did continue for about 5 rounds steadily, breaking the record these few months.
