What's the point in having a forum chat.. I'd rather see people come online and
chat in-game.

they upgraded the forum software to the latest version. it seems as though we should all, as a community, discuss some of the new features that the latest version offers (like the chatbox) and decide if we really want them.

i'm curious about this tagging system and just how much use it might actually be. the chatbox can definitely go. as ara said, if you want to chat in real-time just login to the game.

don't remove the chatbox, it's fun. not EVERYONE has tw on their pc so it's easy to go on forums and chat a bit instead of installing the game everywhere

okay, you make a good point.

i would at least suggest, then, that it be made hidden by default. kind of big and annoying staring you right in the face at the top of the page. i know you can hide it manually yourself and it will stay hidden, but not everyone is going to realize how to go about doing this.

the only way I would use it is to chat while I was checking out the forums from somewhere besides my home pc.
