Have you ever stopped to think that the competent staff members LEAVE staff because of how fucked up it is with the useless members being upper staff and sucking all good ideas and life from lower staff?

Actually, I'd say 90% of the good staff members that still play this game have left staff simply because the other staff members are morons.

Actually, it makes all the difference. Veterans are the reason this zone is still alive and running. Piss enough of them off, and this game dies faster than its normal lifespan would have been. At that point, people like you whose main feeling of power in life is TW staff will lose all hope, and you will finally slash those wrists down the block instead of across the street, and bye bye broly!

Just because veterans populate the zone, doesn't mean they deserve special rights over others in the way you're hinting at. I don't know where you get this feeling that staff is a "main feeling of power in life", but that's a pretty cool assumption.

If you want to create a workable argument in a debate, you need to at least be as accurate as possible. Me thinking that staff should actually be productive if they are staff is not the reason why I am NOT staff. Think for a second before you type.

Are you insinuating that you should be staff simply for doing nothing? I know it isn't your personality that got you staff, unless having none is the fast track way to artificial power in TW. If doing nothing and being useless is the standard for staff applications, then I believe we would have quite a different set of players in staff at the moment.

I dunno where you get "doing nothing" from, seeing as very few mods reach lower than quota, and for that matter the ones mentioned in this thread usually x2-x3+ quota and are on daily. Sure some things aren't always handled properly, but the positives greatly outweigh the negative aspects.

Just because a person has been staff for a long time, does not mean they should stay staff when their usefulness has run out. I am pretty sure that dead weight isn't exactly the thing TW needs at this phase, but that is strictly my own opinion.

The people who have been on staff for a long time and don't do anything aren't trusted with responsibilities, so your point is rather moot. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they stink.
