If you read the original links what burnt posted and then you'll see he did it 2 DAYS IN A ROW. If you can't tell the difference between the res he used and 1280x1024 and then he's clearly a down syndrome.
I'm hardly on my high horse, he got caught out and we have faggots like you sticking up for him. Because he does a donation to the server doesn't give him the right to have an unfair advantage against other people.
Lets just say a twld final was happening and the score was 49-49, round 3 and P_L entered the arena but not as a spectator and accidently entered the game and landed on the shot which was going to hit player A. But then player A rushes player B and wins the game. Would be like oh well it was a mistake? He's a sys op and he needs to set an example.
Recruiting delectable <ER> to staff without him filling out a staff application form and not speaking with the deans about recruiting him and now this. We continue on writing threads of why this game is dying, if you look at the stats the game has gone down hill since P_L was dean. Some of his decisions have crippled this zone, one being removing <ZH>'s from the game. New players log on and don't get the help they need.
Well i'm not logging back into the game aslong as a sys op is abusing like he has.
p.s. People say we can't do anything to P_L, but we could do a petition to the SS council to get his powers stripped from him, just a thought.

There has been ways for years to manipulate resolution limits. Believe me, there is no advantage to a 1920 res in any arena.

We could say that PL has been doing his zone developing work as a SysOp and testing out a higher res, how it would affect the gameplay. Clearly he's not getting any advantage, thus we shouldn't raise the limits to 1920x! Kidding, but really I'm not complaining, I play on 1280x800 resolution.

he played a BD game in 1920 x 1200 (LEGAL IN BD) res. match was over, a DD started. he entered the DD arena and was added. esc+q'd, changed res to legal res and came back.

The bot recorded his res as 1920x1200 because he was added with that res. (this was changed just thismorning, so nobody should be able to abuse it anymore anyway)

The resolution it records is what you enter at when you are picked, once I get chosen i usually switch to a normal resolution. If you see , you can get recorded at any resolution you want if you enter the arena and and get chosen. IE: http://twd.trenchwars.org/showgame/90027707 where it shows delectable at 1980 x 1440 or whatever he was at.. This isnt a very accurate measure of resolution

U are recorded 1920x1080 in both rounds. Meaning u have never changed the res. I cant believe how everyone is ok with this. Im not gonna cry, i never play against pl, but hes cheating right there. And who knows for how long this has been going on.

Who cares if PL plays on a higher resolution? He's sysop.
Btw, may not be the proper place to say it but now the resolution is taken during a game and not when a player get added (since this morning). Since PL has shown the world how to screw my stats

thats a really stupid attitude. Staff here have done alot of dodgy moves and the high up staffers should be doing the upmost to set an example of abiding by the rules, not abusing and misuse of their privileges. The higher up in staff you are the more important that becomes.

i'd not care that much as it's probably a case of forgetting to change res but then stabwound posts a very stern post on the news in TWD.org

The TWD rules page has been updated and rewritten.

You MUST read and understand the rules, especially the section on roster and doublesquadding rules. There have been many bans recently due to people breaking these rules, and ignorance is not an excuse. If you have a sibling/friend/spouse/etc that plays from the same connection, notify TWD ops first! You won't get away with it if you don't, and it will be viewed as doublesquadding or name sharing.

P_L has done alot financially and put time into this zone and for that he deserves everyones gratitude but that doesn't make him an overlord accountable to no one. This isn't a big offence but it's also not a matter of pff he can do what he likes whilst others cannot cause he is sysop. For me that is not in the spirit of what this zone should be about.


anyhow personally i disagree with raising the res as we should be appealing to the "student notebook cant run better games market" that dont have huge res and they might want to play competitively without disadvantages. When this issue was raised a few years ago it was near 50 50 on whether to raise it but ultimately it didn't go ahead till now
