Hey all, as you may have noticed, I recently left the ECT position. This was so I could take over the newly created as the QA (Quality Assurance) SMod.
My task is to help create better quality from our zone/forums. There has been a severe lack of communication from the staff to the players and a lack of responding to player concerns. I will be dealing with this issue.
I will be communicating using the forums, and of course in game.
My current tasks:
-Forum administration: If you have issues, I'll help deal with them. I have already fixed the weeks old forum acceptance. I am currently working on the 'contact us' and 'Staff abuse emails', hopefully they will be working shortly. If you have any concerns, please contact me in game. (Or send me an e-mail, mikebergsteinsson@hotmail.com)
-Staff quality: I will be working with all of the <ER>'s on how they host and the manner of which they interact with the public. I will also be working with the mods, on how they handle help and cheater calls, and the manner of which they handle the public. I will be compiling results and posting the overall standing of staff to the public. The results will remain anonymous to the public, but detailed results will be given to the deans for further action.
-Public communication: I will be dealing with any forum/in game issues that players have with staff until we fix the above mentioned email. Please e-mail me, i will forward all emails to the proper department of staff (Deans/Sysops/TWD/TWL/). I will also respond to all in forum issues/forum ban complaints.
I will not be dealing with in-game bans. They will still be sent to twbans@gmail.com.
Hopefully this will help restore the overall professionalism in staff, and in turn restore the faith the players have in staff.
