Turban, take a look at trenchwars.org and pub statistics. The rating stat is calculated for all ships individually and all combined. The combined rating stat is correct, all the individual ones are not.
Even if you get more points when holding flag the equation should add up for the individual ships, don't you think? As of now that stat is VERY volatile for individual ships. It goes up and down in the hundreds within less than 30 kills or so. It shouldn't do that, so something is very wrong with the calculation.
