Back in '96 when I wasn't quite as into online PC games due to not having my own internet at home, I'd be busy playing Sonic 2 on my best bud's Genesis while he was busy beta testing this game. He'd force me to periodically take a break from the console so he could show it off to me and have me play it a bit, though I wasn't quite as interested & forgot about it till I got a better comp and internet later in '98

I was 10, and had an old windows 98 plus. 2 friends of mine (cahahockey0 and adam01) were talking about it after recess, they described it as "shooting stuff and like um bombing stuff like with the control button, and like you press the arrow keys to move and stuff" I was like "WERD?" and went home and downloaded and the rest is history.

this was after the whole neopets craze of 2001, which i was a complete addict until ss. Fkn gambled all my neopoints in the neo-stock market and went neo-broke. Then started auctioning off my pets to classmates hahahaha, goooooooooooood times ^______^

Pogs was the shit after marbles. I used to be able to flip so many of them pogs at once with my gold-platted slammer that had a skull&crossbones face over a glistening backdrop of ownage. I can't remember what happened to those days and the kids now have boring childhoods.
