no way to forgive the year old ban. that ship has long since sailed.
it's really not feasible to have all these people get punished now, with twl on the verge of commencing.

you're only real recourse is to see hms axed. is this what you're getting at? why not just come right out and say it? instead you're hiding behind a thin guise of "but that's not fair!" and i don't really see the point in mincing words.

disclaimer: i have no comment either way as to hms's conduct. i wasn't around to witness any of it. i will say i don't understand his position now, though. QA Smod seems to be a manufactured title given to a guy who isn't expected to do much of anything.

I appreciate any input from (respected) players about some of our staff members. However some of your facts aren't right such as you saying that we recently recruited half of HMS personal chat into staff. Me and Ara recruit solely based on staff applications.

Perhaps 'recent' wasn't the best word to use. I meant the time in which HMS was dean of staff. It wasn't that hard to figure out in my opinion. This has nothing to do with you or Ara, so I would appreciate if you would stop putting words into my mouth.

On another note, this is like a year old, why didn't you speak out about this before? It's a bit late to start sturring things up about him, so unless you bring up something recent this can't be seriously looked at at the moment. I agree that some of the recent twd moves has been a bit shady and we will need to clarify some rules so people know if accepting/axing yourself and whatnot is considered illegal or not.

Again, by simply reading the thread you could see I already answered this. At the time the 'on the move' page was changed so that captains could see who recruited who / who promoted who. Me posting this now comes after months and months of witnessing people do what I did with no consequences (which I feel is the right move). I would just like to know why I was banned for 2 weeks by HMS and no one else is even subject to a warning. It is comical that you think this is not relevant now, as HMS is still a member of staff and the "QUALITY ASSURANCE SMOD." How can a quality assurance SMod ban me for 2 weeks just because he a grudge against me? Also, perhaps you missed the first paragraph stating that I would like this thread to bring in other peoples' experiences with HMS. Thanks for your response however.

I guess that means I am not a respected player M_M, that hurts me to the core. I mean I guess when you have to constantly have to cover up for useless douche bag co-deans you have to say things like that. Of course the general playerbase overwhelmingly agrees with me so I guess that is better than being respected by some guys who won't be around much longer anyways.

Me and Ara recruit solely based on staff applications, personal experience, recommendations from other staffers and simply looking at the fact on who's most likely good staff material and active in a particular timezone. HMS has nothing to do with our staff recruiting policy so I don't want our current staff recruitment linked to a thread about HMS. If you have a personal vendetta with HMS talk it out with him but don't involve staff members who have nothing to do with this at all.
