    HELP!! TW Wont launch

    WHen i hit "play" on the client it looks like it is going to start, then it kinda flashes and goes like I never hit play(for tw and any other zone). Was fine last night and i haven't done anything. Never seen that happen before and I played this a lot!

    What do I do? Desperate to get back to pwning the noobs!!

            That would probably be one of the new Obama mandates in the health care law that got signed into affect January 1st 2011 that stops registered sexual predators and or child molesters from playing online games.

                  Have not reinstalled it, it was fine last time I used it (last night)

                  The "trace" tab is showing packet loss up to 75%, would that cause it to look like it isnt even trying to connect? Everything else with pc and online is fine. Never had this happen before

                        Yes, packet loss could cause it not to load... you should still be able to see the screen with your ship pointing upward though. Check your resolution settings, if you are selecting a resolution that your pc can't handle it will not load as well.

                          Its okay Im back!

                          Must have been the packet loss, never got to seeing the ship at all. Would just kinda freeze then go like I never hit play.

                            The Continuum client won't even load properly for me.
                            I even downloaded it again and reinstalled, to no avail.

                              I figured out the problem.
                              I had to change my DEP settings.

                              (for those who ever have the same issue, here's the fix below)


                              Data Execution Prevention (in Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance Settings/DEP)
