Time for a cool change if possible???

Perhaps we could make this game look more attractive if we increased the ship size slightly- therefore we could add more quality to the ships... obviously we would need to increase the gap sizes in the base in pub and all the arenas but the advantage would be better quality graphics . Might keep new players on this game alittle longer. Its just a thought

you can easily increase the ship sizes in the arena settings, but you need to keep the ship size at around 1:1 pixel ratio or it will fuck things up hard (bullets will kill you despite missing or go through it).

but, i would much rather see someone enhance the current ship graphics, kind of like i did with my graphic set. i could definitely up the quality of my ships by a bunch, but too lazy currently to spend time for that.

the ship gfx is 16x16, but the collision box is actually 14x14 by default

We have been needing this done for ages but its probably too much work so it won't be done. It would work out really well for people on higher resolutions too since things are so small in 1920x1280...

You would probably disagree on me here (coz you love to criticize, prob don't like me) but with the current size of the ship... there is so much graphic improvement you can do before you can't improve them any further... unless you increase the ship size. Even with the graphic changes you have done with the ships (btw i appraise you for spending the time)...its only a small difference. I'll give you a mad silly example... u can't do shit with 5 pixels... but when u have about 50 pixels (bigger ship)... things can look nicer- more detailed. Obviously this is going to effect resolution sizes but we would have to weigh the advantages vs disadvantages... again something to trial out on a different arena maybe?

If someone could enhance the current ship graphics- the graphics wouldn't be improved by alot- small difference. This is how i see it.

thanks for stating the obvious.

I don't see any reason for us to increase the current ships sizes, because at least I have no problems with the current sizes on any resolution plus that would, in my opinion, ruin the zone (that's just me, though, call me old fashioned).

What we could do is enhance the current graphics. We should do every graphic from scratch and add as much detail to them as possible, without making them look too fancy, and then include the set to the games setup.exe.
