K, this is like my first post in 5 years.
came out just to tell you guys to STOP messing around with the system every week, SERIOUSLY.


The response i get when i inquire about the change was because of "Inflation", like, really?
Full charge went from $30 to $300? (was $700 at some point).
portal/burst went from $60 to $250/$275?

And what happened to pwarp? Why was it removed?

Honestly, i dont even get why you guys implemented this pub bucks system just to screw around so no one would use it other than for superlev (which is still reasonable at $2k).

If no change is coming, you guys might as well remove the whole thing and go back to the old points ?buy system.

Inflation is true.. without resets people who play longer will have ridiculous amounts of pub bucks.. and they have to remove crap because then new people enter the arena and are really far behind the other people who can buy crap with money, which was why I was against it to begin with but you know.. its not like im always right or anything.

The best part is that FC changed price because nerds (read: Izor) whined about getting rushed by people with !buy fullcharge macros and losing their (read: his) 100 bounty.

So people should just be able to !buy fullcharge indefinitely? I didnt realize the purpose of the bot was for you to just be able to !buy stuff whenever you run out. Why even have it cost $ then? The system is very clearly broken. Killothon is 2000 pub bucks, staff routinely gives out 10k plus, and it's ultimately come down to spamming macros to win in pub...every aspect of pub is !buy now. LTing, basing, and wbing has been watered down into macro spamming. I think everyone agrees the system is broken. Staff is at least trying to adjust it for inflation now. I'll tell you how to fix the system.

Reset pub bucks globally.
Stop giving out relatively huge bonuses to people for no reason. (killothon, end of round awards, hosted events)
Set the !buy system to something practical. Being able to buy something should be a 'special occasion' not a macro

BTW people still are fc rushing/slowdowning me (read: Burnt) on a limitless basis, so obviously the attempt failed.

Ive done my best to boycott pub bucks, I just try to play and enjoy pub for the teamwork the game is supposed to be about. I have never bought a single thing even when we have had a long flag room battle and others are buying crap to win. I also try to be nice to those who hound me to duel them every time I play pub because over time I have accumulated a large amount of bucks. I only wish that the impact wasn't this big for players who do not want to participate in them.

If you're worried about inflation, just put a cap on how much you can earn. Say, 30-35k, and I think you'll be alright...
