    Streaming/Marketing/Advertising

    I'll keep this short and to the point. Thanks to fiS we have given a little life to the prospect of recruiting people to download our client. What I'm hoping to achieve with this thread is a list of websites/people/companies that can help us spread the word. I know people have suggested things on the forums before, but those suggestions are all over the place, I want them to be consolidated HERE in this thread. I don't know much about the world of advertising, but I will take the helm on this project with the help of the community. I have a long history of getting things done, even if I am an asshole (to people who deserve it), so please help me out here, start listing places we can go to to make this happen and I will post updates on what we are doing every single week. I promise you this project will be in full swing and HOPEFULLY have a fresh new batch of newbies before the TWL Season ends.

    Cmon guys, fis and I can't do this without some help. I know there's been a million suggestions on places to visit to get our name out there, but I don't know where to find them all. I want to get this ball rolling but I need a starting point and I personally know absolutely nothing about this sort of thing. Help me help you

          What a huge disappointment this is turning out to be. Everybody has always had an opinion in the past and shits on staff for not doing enough and not being transparent enough when we do stuff, I'm trying to offer a solution to all of those things while giving everybody in the community a chance to contribute. Give me an option, and I'll personally make sure you are set up to succeed. Lets go men, get your shit together and lets do this

            Spread it into the TOR community eh? I've told my guild that's larger than the TW population about it once or twice but I don't think anyone's tried it yet .... I should bring it up whenever I can since myself and vice versa are on the same guild on that server and we could both talk the game up.

            I don't use the forums there yet, but I'm willing to at least look into it.

              It's almost a given that there's at least one subspace player, old or new, on a sci fi forum, so you'll probably get at least one friendly reply, which leads to legitimacy + downloads.

              edit: when I said tor, I meant tor.com. swtor works too, but... just sayin'.

              double edit: maybe we can advertise on a webcomics page? things like ctrl alt del, etc. just about any gaming comic sight. maybe we can find an author that used to play and convince him to do a strip in exchange for money?

                  ahhh i was going on what LF had listed there, Coja tor.com makes much more sense. lol.

                  From what I've seen there is nowhere on the swtor.com forums that will allow one to talk about other video games. Still will try to plug it to my giant guild. ^.^
