We just wasted $100 on a cash event which could've paid for an ad on some shitty website for a couple of weeks, I know that money was probably set aside for cash events but fuck that shit, lets actually use it to get more players first THEN do cash events.

Powerball is empty 80% of the time and has been for several years, yet people still log in every night and make the zone active for several hours. So given that a zone like that is still alive I think it's silly to think TW will be dead by 2014. Plus we still have over $5000 that could be spent on reviving the zone somewhat but at this point I have little faith that staff will do anything useful with it.

I've been saying this ever since we started these cash events as a regular thing. I never thought the cash events would be as many as there have been. I don't understand why we just keep handing over dough to established players, and circulating it among those who are already actively playing.

95% of our budget should go to advertisement-related things. What is the point of paying thousands of dollars and spending hundreds of hours on a website if no one comes? Are we somehow convinced that our website actually is so unappealing they won't want to download the game? Put the brakes on whatever we're paying for, and lets go full steam on ads and let's see where it goes.

The only simple solution I can think of is to make the download easier. Download -> Create name -> Immidiately join tw + see a screen with the basic controls and .?help.

Make the start-up easier and more intuitive.

Burnt, it's still the same people winning LD/LJ/LB every year, obviously these people won't ever lose interest in obtaining 9x10 worthless pixel medals next to their names (as-well as the huge ego boost they get) so I think it's safe to say the zone will never die because of them, exactly like HZ, PBZ etc. TW is sadly heading that way.

Just count the threads that discuss the end of the zone & that talk about improving and compare that with the threads that actually show progress (like two? one from fis and one from demonic).
