Donation Money

So apparently TW has thus far received close to 10000 dollars in donations, yet over the course of the last two years nothing has been done with it, there has been no clarity at all in the entire matter. The only thing we have heard about in the works is a website that for some reason is too secretive to show the population of trenchwars? Why is the money sitting in a paypal account stagnating while the game is literally dying. Population is down, matches are down, pub is virtually dead, yet nobody can seem to get any answers on this. Someone needs to fucking spend this money on advertising or return it to the players it was donated by (stolen from).

I think its time for some answers.

1. Why is this website thing so fucking secretive, is there actually any work done at all on it?
2. If there is any work done it on, show us some of the websites new amazing features and its amazing theme so we can all understand why it took 2 years to create.
3. Who has access to the donation fund, who is in charge of using that money to find ways to advertise with it?


I think those are some fair questions that really need some answers.

wrong, i gained access two months ago.. bought myself a bunker at the end of my garden (for the end of the world), filled it with supplies, blew the rest on coke and hookers and then quit staff. sorry.

there was initially work being done on the site, but that stagnated long ago and nothing is getting done

i wish i could help you to answer those questions, but i simply cant. here's what i know.

the website, (i havent seen more than you did), was being worked on by sticky aka o)-<| (or similar), who told me about months ago that there isn't so much work left and that he could do it within a couple months. i havent seen him in quite a while now though and i havent talked to him ever since.
the grafic aspect of the website is completely done! (i was told that one could split the single elements in the .png up, but i myself havent seen that done yet)

about the money... i think that m_m god and 24 have access to that, and whenever there's discussions wether to spend money on or not, they both have to be talken to and agree on it. it might be that there's more people with access to it. i duno.

however... 24 and i have been talking a bit some time ago and he had the idea of giving out trench wars forum sigs, so when you browse other forums, that your signature would advertise for tw. it's just a small step, a very small one, but something that everyone can help supporting with. i have made about 5-8 sigs within the 400x150 70kb signature limit that the most commonly known forums support. if you want, i can at least show them to you, they're free to use and i can even add your forum name tag on them or modify them. support for that is welcome :-D

a new website isn't what i think is needed at all
i've always thought the integration of stats collected by the bots and posted up for both pub twd and twl is really good and more than alot of games offer allready

i'd rather the money be spent on targeted advertising to attract some new players

i realise that in advertising online games this money is a drop in the ocean but i'd rather see it spent on trying than sit for 2 years while the game dies further waiting for the perfect idea to come along.

at this rate why not just give like $15 to every unique IP that completes 100 twd games - pretend it's an incentive to get new players and call it quits on the money
