I know I know! This might be a little bit old thing.. but I was gone (not playin ss) when ther server moved. I heard that the server is locatade in Usa. Err why did they move the server... That sucks... When the server was here in Finland(If I'm right) I had a ping on 10 ms! now like 120-170. Like... America is so big... why can you guys have a freashin own server ;P It a good thing that DSB havent moved their server... Still got 30 ms on DSB...

Makes it more convenient for the US/Canada folks. And by the way, 120-170 ms is nothing to be upset about. =/ Only need to worry if its over 500.

Yes, we hate the new server. It was moved because Sonera wouldn't host the game for free anymore. And the DSB server has now moved too, althought to a much better location than the TW server, to me at least.

I dont know if i had the same ping when the server moved
So im guessing i was about 90/110 ms before and im 110ms constant.. although when im in Dsb i get 10/30 ms constant

Man, what is your problem? They hosted the fucking server for FREE, and you act like that now that they don't want to anymore? You should be grateful they even ran the server for free, at all.

You know what would be really funny. If someone moved from USA to Finland when the server moved to USA so they would get like 150 ms ping then move to Finland and their ping would be 150 still. Well, I'm greatful... but yea... You're right, why I'm I acting like this? But still.. I just miss thoses days when the ping was 10 ms, when you could shout to those with 150 ms that they lag.. then the shout back no no You are the lagger.... and so on... Then i shouted back I have 10 ms... etc etc..

I complained like hell to Edome and all they say is that they are sorry but other games need hosting aswell. They promised to rethink the situation but I think that they just wanted toget rid of me

Nowdays they are hosting CS-servers and I think that's not a good "improvement". For the money they had the SS server up, hosting a game for 400+ players 24/7, they now host for maybe a max of 100 CS-players (and cs-players have plenty of other servers to choose from).
My lag went from about 150 to 350-550 and ploss from 0 to .5

Subspace's server was first on the list to move becouse its not even listed on the eDomes server list, it was english language server too unline rest of servers.

And for Cs...
Before : 6-7 Cs servers, now ...mm...2, and cs is most popular internet game :P
