My point was that CS is a 10vs10 (dunno exactly) with players on a big map and it can be hosted by players as well. And even if sonera would stop hosting cs at all there would surely be alot of servers to play on.

The new TW server sucks... I used to have 200 ping... now I have 200 still, but the server is like 3 times farther from me, my ploss went up and my weapon ploss jumped to about 2.0%...
Now I can't see anything... I see someone shoot at me after I'm gunned down... Made the game much less fun.
Someone told me 60% of the TW users live in the US, so the new server is beneficial to the total fun of the TW users... but, if 40% ping just jumped up and their ploss ruined they are ruining the fun of the 60% who play in the US, so it's the same as it was before... only now the americans who duel other americans will have a blast. Also, this makes 40% of Trench's users more laggy, meaning their playing abilitys are worse, and they will have less chances to getting into squads, participate in events etc... so those who have good ping and ploss will rise.
I'm not saying that the way it was before is better, because it was the same thing if you look at it from the other side, I'm just saying that a new way needs to be found...
oh, by the way.. anyone know where the highest % of donations were from?? Which part of the world is the most contributionist to the new server. I just want to know the irony of people paying for something which will cause them pain.

I see what you're saying, but if 60% of TW players are in the US, that would mean that when the server was in Finland, around 60% of the players had lag that was unbearable. I remember when I had 56 and it was in Finland, I would usually have around 350-400ping.

I don't like the new server either, hence I am from Finland.

I do have to admit that the server is located at a much better place, considering BOTH europeans and americans.

When the server was here in Finland, "alot" of americans had over 400 ping constantly... Now there are a FEW euros that I know of (And I know alot of them :P) that has constant ping over 400..

The only problem is the ploss.

I live in the Netherlands and from October 2002 till server moved I had mostly between 5% and >13% ploss, with 80ms ping. Then server moved and I now have 130ms with .1% ploss.

Well, server move ruined TW for me to the point i stopped playing it actively. Just too sad when someone who just obtained 36 hours scores kills while flying backward at you because of ghost bullets.
