Banner Mode in name tags

You might wanna force a uniform banner to a squad in leagues, but that doesn't help you at other moments.
So the banner thing would be only a nice addition for 'perfect' situations. The banner is kinda ment to show to what squad you belong imo, but it's not something you force upon other players.

So besides the banner tag:
It would also be nice if there would be something like teamships.bm2 and enemyships.bm2. So that you could make teamships recognisable. Altough that is kinda heavy.

i always need the name tag - it changes how you play
e.g. if i'm playing a complete newbie i have to stop accounting for evasion and shoot like i have no aim (sometimes fighting the newbiest of newbies is harder than fighting elites!)

although that shipset thing idea sounds really sweet to me, i never even thought of it. yeah maybe like a small strip through the wing or something. really, i think it's an awesome idea.

Also i would like to see a function where u can mark someone, such as ?mark Condit, something like that, and on the radar the marked person could appear red. This can help you hunt somone in twlj or twld, as well as help Javers target specific ships in base.
This is similar to setbty, because any ships with a bty higher than the set bty, will appear blue on the radar i think.

I think radar marking would be very useful. For matches, and for less serious stuff like sticking with people you want to in zombies, or dm. :P

You can mark people on the radar in both Infantry and Cosmic Rift. It would be very useful in Continuum, in a few ways. You could mark out your terrier, or the other shark. Or you could mark out the enemy terrier or a dangerous enemy in a twdd match. I say ADD IT!

How about having a little SHIP TYPE ICON to the LEFT of a playername in the ROSTER LIST in the arena?

This way, us team freqs would know who the bloody terrier is, instead of press f7 tons of times or typing in freq chat "Who is the terrier??"

Just a tiny little graphic or even a highlighted LETTER... to the left of a playername in the roster list.

Obviously you wouldn't need this on the playing view field, just in the roster list..(F2)....

I hope this idea gets through to the right people, and don't see it couldn't be done or whats wrong with it.

The Nazi symbol, ie the Swastika, is actually a symbol for peace (Not sure of the origins, I just read it somewhere in the past).

Not that that condones the use of it, but still.

Lotta good ideas, I really like the radar marker one.

Maybe even a way to paint your ship, either just certain areas (the wings for example) or the whole thing. That would be fun to be able to design a good looking ship.

Before hitler adopted it as the symbol for the Nazi party, the swastika meant good luck. None the less, once it was put onto flags which supported mass genocide, it became a negative symbol, end of story.
