Not sure about wine 2.2, but I patched wine 1.3.24 a while back with the instructions here: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...rsion&iId=3703

Cont 0.40 works well, full screen and windowed. The only issue I've ever had is that I can't alt+tab out into chat. Windowed mode can substitute for that however.

I've also ran Cont in WIN7 virtual machine, this works too. Although the keyboard has a tendency to stick/lag slightly from time to time. Kind of annoying when you slightly over-rotate.

I'd attach a screenshot, but don't see an attach option.

      Good luck.

probably a bit late now but you should read the links on http://forums.trenchwars.net/showthr...l=1#post793792

you may need to patch your version of wine to get it working - though i didn't know any 2.2 version of wine i'm using the dev version of wine and it's only in the 1.5's http://www.winehq.org/

i posted up a link in that old thread to the patched file that worked with fedora 13 - you probably would need to recompile the patch yourself though.

perhaps you've had bad personal experience with wine but that point is a bit to sweeping as a lot of programs do work well but you do often have to concede to some sacrifices or workarounds in other programs or games compared to a dedicated windows install.

still though i currently use linux mint 14 with wine and VMware for some other windows programs. IN wine steam works quite well after you sort out the blank text issue and then you can play quite a few games (not all games work) - but ones i've got working are DOTA2 - team Fortress 2 - Skyrim - Fallout New Vegas

in the past i've had photoshop working on it though the fonts were a pain in the arse and it required importing some files from a windows install anyway and nowadays i just use VMware for photoshop.

I was able to do it 4 years ago with Krazie's help. It worked fine, I had full screen and everything. There's a stickied thread somewhere with instructions on how to do it.
