When will the testing be over?

Just wondering if there are any official news about the fake-original-lev test in pub along with weasel-buy-in-safe-test, weasel-no-cloak-test and all the other short term tests which are in place and have never been removed or evaluated and make many old players logout quick again. Does anyone know more about this than the rumors that go around? Does anyone officially still care actually or is dev completely on the ASSS project now?

Most of dev is indeed focusing on the ASSS server.

Hm, I'd like to be more optimistic but I doubt the ASSS server will be done within the next months. Since it seems dev as current head of pub has given up the current game until then, can we get a replacement to care about the "now"?

I guess I really don't blame Dev for working on ASSS, since it could possibly be one of the biggest developments in TW in years. Current settings work for now I guess, no real rush to change anything......

And I think we have to take into consideration that the dev team works for free and probably deserve a little slack for not getting to certain things right away.

We have a lot of work to do as a community as a whole. Everyday we tackle new challenges. One thing that can always help of course is donations to development so we can invest in new things to make our gaming experience better.

No, not at all. However, to improve security, develop programs, etc, requires money - sometimes a lot of money. The dollar figure for the server to host us each month is startling, which is thankful we have someone like Priit to pay for it, and so is the cost to modernize our zone, which we have to do by ourselves if we want to have a future.

What are those figures? And how much does stuff we have to do ourselves cost?

Maybe you could get that information from inside staff? I am sure people would be way more likely to donate (not just money, also work) when they know what it is for. This includes a list of planned changes and goals for the game. The way donations are handled right now is called fraud in most countries due to the lack of information, organization and taxes. They could also be just named wrong and are actually community funds but then the community would have to have equal rights on deciding what to spend them on or elect someone to decide. This all seems a little dubious and is very little inspiration to actually send money into the blue and it could really help if things got cleared up a little.
