Just play both ships, boom problem solved.... Only reason we have this problem, is because the jav guys cry when we vote WB. You don't see us WB prefered players whining about playing jav. Got these jav guys mad nervous when there isn't walls to run/hide behide, step you dodge game up play more WB : )

Nothing will likely be done, because people keep saying negative things, and few people will take action, and commitment to helping the game grow, even the people who love it, and have Been playing for years. Its simple as that.

Update on this. The process of splitting the maps is underway, the current baseelim map is already set with a warm up area. Elim is currently being redesigned by fis to have a warm up area similar in size to a twdd arena. Once the maps are ready there will be some bot work to remove peoples ability to reset their ranks as well as db resets on the current leaderboard. No ETA on when this will all be done hopefully by the start of next year.

Joint elims didn't ruin wbs in elim. Lack of wbs ruined wbs elim. Your going to shoot yourself in the foot and kill wbs in elim at the same time. Who is in charge or making decisions on what goes and what doesn't in elim? Was there a public vote, or did a few higher up staffs take it upon themselves to change based on 3 people adding input to this forum and hope for the best? We have a small piece of the pie left of elimmers and your going to cut it in half(not really, bc javs have a bigger piece). This is not 2004 with an infinite supply of elimmers. What did we base this decision on? I respect you in many ways reckful, but being an elimmer is not one of them. I don't think I have seen u in a single elim.

actually, you are wrong about that one tiny.

warbird eliminations used to be far more popular than javelin eliminations. however, the merge of the arenas ruined it all in an instant. all of the sudden, javelin started to gain more popularity, and warbirds could never play their type of elim.

Wasn't the original reason to merge the two together a result of a fading population and lack of activity? I fear separating them again will just cause even less activity in elim. It isn't like we are gaining players.. still losing them actually sigh. Wb elim was by far the more popular in days of old too. I remember at peak times needing to use the expanded arena fairly often. Plus I think merged elims are good at making players learn to raise their skill levels up in all ships. Let's not forget about Lancaster, Shark, Terr and Spider elims being part of the mix too.. I'd like to see it kept as it is myself.. add lev elim back too sigh .. I miss those so much.. just make them to 2 or 3 though... lol but seriously we don't have enough players now to separate it.. elim sits idle still most of the day.

elims used to be together way back in the day. they were split into elim and baseelim because the population supported both

eventually baseelim died slightly slower than elim and would usually have a couple people in it playing while elim would be lucky to have a game going

they were combined again because lack of cumulative activity

i do think elim was played often enough though, it just happened to be in the middle of the night for the US folks

Well im working on it, its hard to break 15 year old habit, cold turkey anyway.! Plus I enjoy reading fourms during my work break everyday, and also its not negativity, it's truth.

Go ahead split elim up, kill the game even more. You barley have enuf players to get a 10 person game in one arena. What makes you think splitting it up would do any good? Common sense gos along way seems like the people running this beloved game lack it.... Don't split elim, just make it fun monthly score resets and ect..

I agree, The best way to implement something like this is to have an elim bot for the warbird portion of the map of elim, and one for the jav, in the same arena so both types of player can play.
