We should showcase the competition in TW HZ and EG. New players, especially from a competitive playerbase like that of Steam's community, will want to see a skill hierarchy and ladder that they must climb to be respected. This is what has drawn in most of the modern SS addicts and will be what draws in the newcomers who get addicted as well. As I've said for months the most simple way to achieve this at first glance for a pubber would be to develop some sort of incentive for pub squads. This was key in the golden age of SS. i'm not trying to shit on this because fuck yeah it's awesome, but i feel like the problem then was the problem now, no priitk/interested dev to actually do the work necessary to integrate the ss client into steam, but this is me talking with absolutely zero programming experience
that being said getting the greenlight hype out there's a good way to at least get a few people to pop back into the game, hopefully at least grab a few for TWDT, and who knows maybe us TWpessimists are wrong for once and there is going to be some actual work done!!!!Comment
