You're that confident Turpin? I mean, you were definitely around during the multiple times this was proposed and failed. If it works, it may save this game. I'm not entirely confident that even steam can save it, since gamers are just different these days, but you never know.
Another thing that prob won't work but sounds like a good idea to me if it could: GOG.com (Good Old Games) sells abandonware and old games online, and it's a very popular site. They fix installers and clients for games that wouldn't normally work on next gen PCs (DOS/Win 9x) and then resell them for super cheap, DRM free. We obviously wouldn't be selling the game, but we could use the donation money to have them work out any licensing and client issues (they do that too), and have them offer the game free of charge on their site. Again, i doubt it would work since we aren't selling the game, but you never know. It's worth an email.
