- Logging in and playing pub more than 15 minutes a day for multiple days in a row will now earn you a loyaltybonus. This bonus will continue to increase until day 7, where you will receive a mega-bonus between $25K and $250K.

Maybe you can have it work like this:
Have a time counter in which dings when you have reached your daily bonus. Have your bonus be calculated based on time your have successfully played daily, so you can play an hour in the morning, and 2 in the afternoon = 3 hours = bigger bonus. These times can all add up. AFK stops are initiated if you don't kill in two minutes. Or have an afk autospec?4:cripple> everyone DOWNLOAD my cheat engine it removes .5 sec off ur respawn and adds a 3rd into regen energy link is here: www.pornhub.com/man.kills.fly.during.anal.html

Hi Qan,
Incentivizing playing is good but trying to calculate variables for playing time (accounting for spec, dealing with consecutive time, etc.) seems overly complex.
As you know, the most elegant solutions are usually the simplest. So why not a simple formula using the number of kills and deaths per day as the way of understanding if a person gets loyalty points?
For example; >X number of kills and/or >X number of deaths per day can be used to understand if a person has logged in and actually played.

Once you play your 15 minutes on one day, then you need to wait until the next day, and then play another 15 minutes.
The "day" resets at 0:00GMT right now. EDIT: When I get home shortly, it will be changed to 12AM PST, or 3AM EST/7AM GMT, a decent compromise between US and EU times. So if you play before then, at say 2AM EST, and then the next time you play is at 4AM EST the next "day" (so you play 26 hours later), it will count as a reset. You need to play 15 minutes within each day's timeframe. At the same time, you could play at 2AM EST for 15 minutes, log off, and then come back on at 4AM EST a few hours later and get a bonus for two consecutive days played.
I've added an experimental counter in !stats to let people know when they can receive their bonus next.

We could do it this way just as well, yep. I'm guessing that currently the greatest confusion comes from when the day resets, and not knowing when they need to play next. But if it made it simpler to just go on a combined number of kills/deaths, that could also work. Would just need to keep people from gaming it too badly, which is a problem with a solution that's too simple, sometimes. For example, it could encourage people to just enter in and blindly rush as WB to get their bonus ASAP.

Might be worth looking at offering bonuses for greater amounts of play. People do already receive pretty decent consecutive playtime bonuses independent of the daily, though. One idea might be to just make the daily bonus a steadily-growing bonus instead of a daily. So you could earn it every 8 hours or so, and it wouldn't reset. You'd just keep building toward a slightly bigger one until you get your mega-bonus. An idea at least... would have to be thought out pretty well.
Heads up, to keep this conversation going I may need to transfer this information to a new thread. Have to wipe comments to update changelog soon.Last edited by qan; 04-27-2017, 01:46 AM."You're a gentleman," they used to say to him.
