Shark upgrade?

I think the terrier needs six times the amount of energy, 3 bursts and 6 decoys. Oh, reps too.

They are strong, because the other ships take time to master, and most newbie pilots in public arena can't figure them out.

It is beyong me why staff have not produce a TW Ship help page explain what each ship is used for and how to use them...with basic skill tactics.

Like when I first started TW, I thought, man the Shark sucks? Why did I say this? Because it doesn't shoot BULLETS.... most new players think this way, heck, if I did....then most would.

Now, I know better, the shark has a specific use and if used properly can be deadly and a serious basing problem..heh..

Sorry to shark lovers, just using it as an example.

Summary:
Warbird, Spider, Lancaster are your fighter ships... of course they are strong in dogfighting.

If they even changed the Warbird and SPider settings, so many players would be mad... including me...

Like I said before, leviathans need those repels atleast 2 of them.

And I never use a leviathan, I usually kill them if I'm bored... not all the time.heh...

Why does the levi need repels? Because a WB with good aim can knock it out at long distance.

Heck some good warbird pilots can aim at fast moving warbirds at long distiance, just think about how much easier it is with the sluggish levi.

Ohya and Sharks having L1 Ass Bullets, yeah that might be good IMHO....others might have better insight than me here...

Sometimes I wish the Shark could lay more than 4 mines, and the FREQ could lay upto 10 mines...instead of the 8 limit.

Zerzera, I agree that the lancaster could use alittle more energy, but then you would have to increase recharge rate too..hmmm
But we have to be careful here, cause if you give too much of boost to the lancaster, it might kill the warbird.... have to try to keep the balance in the force..heh..

I'm sorry, but those reasons for levis to have repels can be applied to any ship. More mines is bad too. There are already too many sharks out there who don't know what they are doing. Giving them more TK tools is not a good idea.

if i was going to change the shark i'd simply give it more than a piddly 1200 maximum energy level.

cherub, to put it simply, your ideas blow. they unbalance the game. levs don't need any help, there is a reason they can not dodge, to keep their numbers down. also i'd rather have a ship that any newbie can use, than an arena filled with levs.

You want to fix the two broken ships (aside form levi)

Give the lancaster 1 thor
give the weasel back a rep.
Completly rehall the levi and give it a brick


I mean, thors and reps are used in other zones, why not here?

Please GOD dont give the lancaster a thor.. you would see so many damn lancasters just because it has a pretty new weapon. I say if anything make lev bombs lv 1 and give IT a thor that cant be greened. I say thatd be ideal for the lev.

Thor = NO.

I think that (setting-wise) thors has to be as powerful as a L3 bomb and it cannot be changed. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So, if this is true, Lancasters or whatever ship having thors would be WAY too much powerful.

Just imagine levs with thors :eek:

Besides, having a 6 to 8 tile brick what doesnt last too long would be nice.

well you could make the thors really slow moving so they are easy to rep
