Spiders aren't left with 0 energy after they shoot once. Granted their bullets aren't as powerful, but if a wb misses(they usually do, considering in a basing game sharks rep)the spider has the perfect opportunity to wipe out a warbird. One shot with a spider bullet to a warbird that has missed is deadly. Therefore, spiders own.

I've been using spiders quite a lot lately and to tell you the truth, I kick ass as it! lol.

Anywoo, spiders do not suck if you know how to use them the right way. Their maneuverability is ok but quite awful to tell you the truth, but in open space or base, they are deadly foes none-the-less. "Dodging" is the first step to victory as a spider. Dodge your shot from any ship especially birds, and you've got plenty of time to take your shot.

My strategy is usually to dodge the shot from birds or any other ship, then once they have fired, I go in and attack. Yes, their weapons may be a little cheap compared to many ships having to fire once and taking a while to load, but then that means you are calling the creators cheap! In any game, you will always find the normal infantries (in this case the warbirds), the heavy artillery (leviathans), and of course the fast shooters. Spiders are merely taking that position.

Spiders do have strategy within 'em so don't doubt that. Yes, any newbie can do that, but it takes skill to truly utilize it and master it.

Anyways, that's my thought.

after playing some pub where there were spiders i found out that they can be deadly foes in open and closed spaces. a couple of good spiders killed me before i figured out how to counter them. the solution is to take radar shots and then run away in a wb. the only weakness of spiders is they have to close to visual range before they become very dangerous.
