The copyright on the back of your subspace CD will say '95. Open beta was in '96. Anyone who tells you they've been playing since '95 is either lying, or one of an extremely select few who alpha tested (none of which I believe still play). Since '95 was 8 years ago, I would venture to say your newbie friend there is lying, or misguided.

Magi, basing back then was not very popular as it is now. And I think Epi described that in his history pretty well. No newb with numbers in his name or whatever his name was can be telling the truth if they told u they been playing longer then 1 year. So why would u believe 8?

not too far back... atleast at when it STARTED getting popular. Disoblige, Paladen, Cripples. How those squads all started and went about. That history thing is pretty biased, in my opinion.
