I use to love to roof jav, they annoy the heck out the base terr. Pub, now those were the days.

Talon is great and showed me many shots for jav.
Daze_ also is good, they make a great combo.
Troll King for shark of the year.

These three are the only ones that really stick out.

Thanks RudyH, my aim can be good sometimes... but it has been down lately? :< if I don't play for 4 days or so, I get out of sync.
I find when I play ELIM, I can survive almost to the end most times, but I have tough time getting those elite warbirds....on average... I need to improve on my radaring shots.

Troll King; Rating is probably the best stat indicator for basing in pubs; since the formula for rating takes everything into account.

Now if you just goto pub to just duel people, then win/losses is the only indicator. Some warbirds just go in there trying to duel and don't base at all. My rating has dropped, cause I don't base 100%...yet my kills / deaths is almost 2:1.


As for pub.... at first I have taken the ethics/morals seriously... but after time, I think it is all pointless. Since, most people who play pub.... just do what they want... go for the most vulernable.

I admit, I vulch sometimes, especially in base area. Why?

You ever watch terriers/spiders? They have to be the biggest vulchers... they wait till you fire, then run you over with their wimpy bullet shots... dead... I have been keen as of lately to watch a lurking terrier/spider...just waiting till a fire at someone else. Sometimes they get me, but I try to reduce the chances of getting killed like this.

Anyhow as for best sharks I have seen....

since bullets = health, counterpunching is essential to subspace. what would you have the spider or terr do? "stand up" and get killed by the rifle? hell no. wait for him to spend his load, and maybe kill him simul if he didn't miss. maybe. (and if he misses, that's a different story. but it gets less common as you damn birds get more practice.)

it sure beats trying to whittle down that heinous recharge rate using a lil red gun. (5 or 6 shot minimum, aww yeah)

I must admit Talon is pretty damn good. And the Talon and Daze combo kicks ass. But no this isnt the Talon forum so ill mention others :-p
