I'd like to see Rodge Staff... Adman for staff again! (as always). Zerz you're right, you have to WANT to help people, that means less playing than usual and more helping people out, showing how to play game, and keeping it in balance, etc etc. You dont' join staff for the power (some do).

You're right, the more "known" players don't always need to be staff, any person that staff sees as helping out enough they're going to recruit... or at least should (cept for begging, paladen, sucking up). You don't NEED a tag to help people out, I know I, as well as several others are able to help new people get situated in ?go base, pubs, elim and such by just pming them when they ask, instead of spamming obsenities like people do (esc+q shit like that), we do it because it's nice to know that you might have "initiated" another new and possible promissing recruit into TW.

I was ZH for a little under 2 weeks. During that time I did a mediocre job at best, it's not something I had a lot of fun doing, and I don't plan on going back any time soon. You really need to want to be staff, and I sure as hell didn't want it.

Anyways, was most of you calling for Ice's axing because of how you know him on the forums? Just because you don't like somebody, and I don't particularly care for Icey, doesn't mean they're not qualified to do their job. If Ice were going around causing trouble in the game, and neglecting his staff duties, then I would be posting my 1 line "axe ice storm" posts just like the rest of you. I haven't had the opportunity to interact with Icey via the Staff-Player relationship in TW, and I'm not staff, so I don't know if he does his job well or not. To those who want him axed: do you know how well he does his job? Honestly, give the guy a break if he's doing what he's supposed to.

If he's doing a shitty job though... thats a different story.

Also make Nickname, Vykromond, and Phatz staff

Personally, i think older people should be staffers, i'm talking Mr Magoo, 404 Not Found (and the other half of NS). Because theyre simply more mature (and wiser), and being that, I think they would make better staffers.

I also think Bosshawk would make a great staff because he likes working on the zones especially on the WA Zone and he plays alot as well.
PureOwnage is also good with zones/webdesign and maps.

Helping people gets really annoying sometimes. As the guy who ran TWL last season, I was bombarded with the exact same questions which were usually very simple and the answers could be found by reading the TWL website. It took a whole lot of effort to not just ignore everyone and call them morons just to make sure that I was doing a good job

I guess you haven't played ?go hockey w/ him then (him hosting). I'd say give him more training in hosting and the rules to the events. I was the one in there telling him what to do, of course he didn't listen to me, and eventually 1/2 of the room who knew how the game worked. that made all but 4 leave at the end.
