Sell your SS names and donate preceeds to TW?

Umm, I know this idea sounds geekish, but I was wondering whether it's possible for TW site to have a section that adverts what names are on sell and their costs (could be a fixed price or a 1 week auction).

Think of it as name trading, except everytime you give a name or a squad to someone, he/she donates some $$$ to TW.

Personally I would pay $10 for names like 'Cynical' 'stray' or 'sarcasm' and squad names like 'Omnipresent' if I know all the proceeds goes to pay for the TW server.

Here are my 3 questions:

1) will you sell your much sought after names (if you have any)?

2) will you buy any name if you really want it?

3) how much are you willing to pay?

there's a better idea, sell priveleges - rh for 5 bucks, zh for 10, er for 20, mod for 50, smod for 100, sysop for 300... except without the banning priveleges or there'd be chaos. but hey plenty of other things to do - for example super ship! terrorize any arena, I'd pay for that.

There is a new service TW is offering,web hosting. Selling off names to people or giving staff powers is really limited to the game. Expanding to outside sources is a good idea for giving the server an unlimited source of money. I wouldn't pay for names in game but i'm sure some people would. I don't have any names to sell since in 6 years I've only used 2.

Edit: I also disagree with giving people staff power in game for money besides the fact that it is limited to a small population willing to pay for it, it would just wreck the zone.

I don't know if it still exists, but you used to be able to pay $20 and have super for 30 minutes or something like that. It was only in ?go radio though. If you really love the game you should donate to keep it alive. I've been meaning to send money, but im poor and can't afford it right now.

You can't have been serious. I mean come on, letting complete idiots on the radio? Or complete idiots host events ? It'd be chaotically stupid to allow anyone to purchase things like that, they have to be earnt.
