Tking in the pure pub (stark eats poo)

There will not be any usage limits in the pure pub. That is rediculous.

I have ?msged Cpt a few times about limiting the javs to 3-4 per freq max. (If you wanna mass javlin numbers inside flagroom, there are plenty of other pubs for that).

There will be no need to limit sharks. There is a set mine limit and you will may need more than 2 sharks to get into fr with the amount of defense in flagroom.

Cpt is busy with other bots atm. So with the "jav tking" I suggest you help newbie javs by telling them shots which are good. if people are tking on purpose, report them as you would. But go light on the reporting, and feel free to tell people that other ships like spider and lancasters are effective in different ways.

amidst all this, the basing that i have experienced over the last 24 hours in the new pub is better than all the pub basing i have ever done combined.

if the bot doesn't, it should be like mr. arrogance 2, just in case he's gone, and guanobot wouldn't have to travel... and there should be more then one when it's busy, because that one pub fills up pretty fast, and then everyone misses out on it... there should be like another one up, in the bot arena and when there's alot of people on, they can move him into pub 1 so there'd be 2/10 pure pubs or something like that

having a pure pub with guanobot is like having sex with a hot transsexual. Besides the 300 hr usage shit isnt gonna work because i have a shitload of usage and i still tk A LOT. Its just really hard not to tk when theyres 15 ships (mostly javs) all crammed in the FR.

Now, if you were to have a usage limit for the guanobot arena like ?go elim or some shit, that would make more sense.

well everyone seems to agree on 3 tk limit then ship change so I don't think this fight needs to go on any longer.
Personally i think it isnt that hard not to kill teammates if you just take your time and don't shoot wrecklessly at the entrance.

the levis were a problem and needed a change yes but you guys are going too far. pub is different.

Funny thing is, there is at this time only one levi-free arena, and in the end it will not be more than 1/3 or 1/5 of all arena's.

I like pub alot and the only reason I spend more time in ?go base is because there is no levis. When you get an entire team basing versus the other team in pub, it has so much more action than ?go base has. Besides that, people in pub take more critism and listen to coaching because most of them don't think they already made it. Where some people in ?go base amaze me with their lack of basics skill/knowledge, yet because they get picked they think they are the shit
Ofcourse most of them lack the skill and oversight, but as long as they're not in a levi they can't do much wrong.
The fact that when there was some basing going in pub and you had a long annoying fight to get in flagroom as terrier -you have to put alot of effort in getting the team to work with you. It normally would end in a levibomb of some dumb teammember striking your side of flagroom, whiping and discouraging the team.

That is mostly why I didn't pub as much as I used to, now I can... and you can, just not in the same pub.

A limit on javs might be a good idea because the other option is the normal way teamkilling is dealt with:
1. javelin tks
2. javelin tks
3. javelin tks, gets reported
4. javeling tks, gets warning and setshipped
5. javelin doesn't get the message, changes back and tks
6. javelin get's banned

Well most of the time it shouldn't go further than step 4, but when levi isn't there to empty flagroom every 10 seconds there will be alot more people stuffed in flagroom, and because most newbies think that basing is done with javelin things might get messy. Ofcourse that is the mods problem .

Hey Dick face, I was commenting on how gay those above ideas were.

Just keep an ER there to ban anyone who tk's more than 3 times. If you tk more than 3 times, you should get out of the jav ship anyway. 3 strike rule, not that 300 hour usage bs.

That shows I was agreeing with your Tk count idea, and telling you the usage idea was stupid. Pay attention next time before you try to make anyone look like a dumbass, fuckmook.

After actually playing in the pub for a while..I agree with gophar.


It has too many damn javs, you can't get anyone to switch, the sharks are damned stupid about their mining. It's worse than levis in the TK department, but on the opposite, there is basing. You don't get much basing with levis present.

Perhaps the right should be reserved for a select few (ie staff and others, like those chosen to have bot powers in ?go base) to make wise, unbiased decisions about problem sharks and javs. Once a decision is made, they just pm Guanobot with !change <name> and the bot automatically changes him to a spider or wb with a *warning that says something to the effect of "To avoid this from happening again, practice javving and stop TKing." or something like htat

of course those given this responsibility cannot be biased in anyway...hell it might even be worth it to program the bot to automatically change those who tk 3 times in 5 minutes...but an <unbiased> person could make much wiser decisions.
