"UPGRADED" Server

I really wish people would learn to take things the right way.

I'm not saying I dislike the server or anything of the sort. I'm asking, when in the news files it says they upgraded the server with a cool new processor and an extra gig of RAM, why is it that the server is laggier than ever?

It's a QUESTION, not a complaint you ignorant fucks.

Is it just me, or ever since they "upgraded" the server, has it become more laggy?

i fail to see how pointing out that an "upgrade" is a turn for the worse should be treated as "complaining even though its free." don't even try and twist this as such, because it's far from the truth.

any admin knows the risks involved in switching servers, and that it usually takes many more opinions than his own to judge if the new server is superior to the old one. if tw people are commenting on new lag amounts, then obviously the old server was better. unless the new costs are substantially lower than the old ones, it might be a better idea to retain usage of the old server (well... if you want leagues to be worth a damn, anyways).

it's true that no one is twisting our arms to play this free game... but, at the same time, no one is twisting anyone's arm to pay for our right to play for free. you might as well just sit back and enjoy the symbiotic relationship we've grown accustomed to.

New Server: Dual Xeon 2.4 ghz: $460/month.

$220/month difference.

Old server is still available if anyone wants to front the $220/month difference, prepaid at least a year in advance. Oh yeah, you'd be paying $2640 for a Celeron.

Same location, same datacenter, same company.
