packet loss

i am at university and have a 10mb connection and still get crazy ploss. it has been like this for nearly 2 weeks, but its ok after 11pm till about 8am. It is usually around 5-12% tho, both c2s and s2c.

think this could be my provdier throttling it somehow? or is it the server?

just wondering coz i will talk to our department about it to get it fixed...

I have a 2mb connection and crazy ploss untill midnight...uk time
then ploss goes down.

i get my connection from my university, so there's is actually a t3/t1 not sure which, and i have a 100mb ethernet card, but the say i got 10mb/sec... so its all a bit confusing, but i was just wondering whether the ploss was to do with my uni, or subspace server.

also, i am from uk, so perhaps there are some flaky routers on the way to subspace's server, i'm not too knowlegable with things like this, so asking for your guys help
