i hold it down for a short 2 bullet burst....usually. i tap when there's distance between me and opponent.

I tap to aim, then hold down on attack. Since I can move and continue to hit nme with bullets if I hold it down, I can certainly get more than 1 kill per death.

On other hand, I still die too much, time to start tapping

Only pub spiders hold the button to shoot, experienced ones make sure their shots land, so - tap
