why do people bot play in Base2?

When i go in base, theres usually 14 ppl playing and then like 20 in spec, more than enough for a base2 game.

Sometimes i even say, "go base2", but ppl just dont...a few times, ppl have even said things like "id rather suck a dick than goto base2". C'mon guys, its basing

im like addicted to ?Go basing now, but i have to sit out alot :/ so i decided to ask, maybe theres some reason?

i agree jerome.. but people aren't that sensible, and are too worried about their precious reputation (even tho they didnt get picked in base) to go to base2.

see, thats what i figured, kind of like how the 'pub elites' tend to go to the higher arenas (0,1 etc).

like zeus said, its a game, if someone loved basing they'd do it.

?go base only really involves 16 people max. Elim and Base-Elim host up to any range of people. Elims get far more people, because the amount that can play is any. If we advertised for ?go base, a whole load of people would come but only 16 could play. And the most of the time the better "known" players would get picked over the newbies/unknown people anyway.

It is best to keep ?go base like wbduel, where if you need a host, you can send a help call. If there are alot of players in base after picks, send a help call for a staffer to help set up base2. Plenty of times I've done an arena message and got people to go to base2. Getting people from your chats, or from public is not hard to do either.

I agree that there shouldn't be a advert for it since only 16 people can play. But I was thinking if there was a zone msg without the ?go base just "New game of basing is starting". This would inform the people who know what ?go base is to go there for a new game, getting rid of the 50 + people pissed off because they can't play.

what about tourney's? only 16 players/teams get in..?

I mean, they need to make an exception. They made an area that nobody uses. At the least, they should pick captains who would want to help the new players (i know this sounds ridiculous in the veteran-soaked newbophobic zone, but there are people out there who want to train the newbies, find the talent etc).

It just seems funny that they made the arena and dont use it.
