    Starting a thread about the new matchbot in .?go base.

    1) The lag restrictions are a huge problem for a lot of people. I think it mostly has to do with the spike limits, although personally I have encountered large amounts of slow ploss (which I would also like to be explained in relationship to regular ploss)

    2) Point race = a good idea. However, 80k is proving to be a little steep. I would suggest around 65k-70k.

    3) I don't know if there is a 5 spid maximum, but if there is, get rid of it. 5 spids should be a legal line-up, regardless of how "unfair" or "boring" it may be.

    Please don't turn this in to a flame fest.

    I think 80k is fine you whiner. Of course I don't really play ?go base very often.

      Yea I noticed that too, it's wierd but 80k felt like a LONG time. I thought 80-90k was a perfect setpoint for go base, but I guess not. Try it out with 65k. A bit more fast paced and to the point. No one likes slow boring games. And if 65k works out, I'd say 95k for a TWD game.

          Earwarp offers an equal chance to both teams with out one terr getting a good warp. But i still like no earwarp better. Ive seen games in ?go base with the new settings last under 10 mins, think the 80k is fine.

            that's bs k-i. a slaughter with the old basing settings was 110-10 in 20 minutes. hitting 80k in under 10 minutes is quite the stretch.

                    I had slow ploss problems last night, but when I turned off Bittorrent it stopped. I could always use Bittorrent and play at the same time before the new bots came.

                    Oh well. At least I can play, unlike some people. :eek:

                        Slow packetloss are packets that come in with a delay to the server. Its a sort form of spike.
