ok i have a stereo and a computer in my room and i want to hook the stereo up to the computer so i can have both the computers speakers (external) and the stereo's playing simultaneously. so far i can only get one or the other; i dont even know if is is possible to get both.

on the back of my stereo hub i have 6 ports- an +/- for the left and right speakers and a spare "auxilary" set. this auxilary set can be connected toa device similar to what kyace suggested.
