silver CD R/W?

Looking to build a new PC sometime soon. I have picked a silver LianLi case, but I am having a hard time finding some good quality CD and DVD drives in silver.

Anyone have some creative ways around this problem? Or is Newegg not the place I should be looking for silver CD roms?

well i think it actually is interesting. i like setting up my computer and stuff like that. working with computers is interesting for me...i guess that's why i'm in computer engineering.

I hadn't thought about doing that, but I'm glad you suggested it.

Actually, when I scrape together the cash, I'll post the specs before I order everything.

So far, here's what I have in mind:

case: Lian Li 60A Plus (silver anodized aluminum case with the window panel option)
mobo: DFI LanParty; nForce4; SLI; 939 socket
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3200; 939
HD: Seagate 'Cuda 7200 RPM; 120Gb

I have a power supply, floppy, blue LED fans, and a cheep vid card in mind already (I'm going to wait to upgrade the VidCard later since it's like 40% of the total PC cost). I'm probably going to add some cold cathode UV as well, since DFI has designed the mobo to glow in the dark under a UV light.

But I'm haven't picked out the CD&DVD R/RW drives yet, and really don't know what to look for in a vid card.

Do you have any suggestions or comments about this so far? I basically want to build a fun gamer that looks cool as hell in a dark room.

Yea, I thought about that, but not everyone uses usb flash drives or cd r/w's. Like when my dad asks me to proofread his Word docs, he still puts em on the old 3.5" floppies.

Sometimes it's good to have one for you PC, just in case. After all, they're only like $7 bucks, so why not.

unfortunately, i don't have the time or experience to build a computer. i just think it looks fun. setting up my store bought computer is fine.

eh, i have a 200 gb (not really 200 gb...lost a few gb's. damn them using 1000MB as 1 gig instead of 1024MB). no porn, just lots and lots of anime! =D
