AMD 64 3700 vs AMD 64 3200

I would appreciate some help deciding if I really want to spend the extra $70 bucks on the 3700+San Diego vs the 3200+Venice core.

That's 40% more for the AMD 64 3700. The L2 cache is twice as high on the 3700, but I can't decide if it's really worth the extra money. I'm planning on using as a gamer.

And thats been working pretty well for me.

But i would just go ahead and buy new computer, Alienware! :fear:

Processors are so fast nowadays that it's not worth paying double for anything.

I was actually hoping for that answer, although I expected the opposite suggestion. I'm glad I can still get a quick processor at an affordable price.
