  • Has anyone here done tech support or hardware repair IRL?

I was wondering what kind of salary and job responsibilities retailers like Best Buy and CompUSA offer for tech support or computer repair.

I was looking to try something different for work, as long as it's not for bullshit minimum wage. I enjoy working with hardware and building PC's, and think it would be cool to learn some new shit from people who really know what they're doing.

Most likely around $9-$12 /hour at large retailers, a bit more in smaller companies. It might vary by some margin depending on past work experience.
