    Out of range?

    Hey,

    I got a 17 inch TFT monitor and I run XP, and everytime I want to start up Red Alert (the old one) My monitor just says: out of range while I can hear the audio.. Anyone knows what I should do?

    check max refresh rate of monitor. see if teh game is too high for it. also if you can get into the gfx settings for the game tone it down a little, set resolution too 800x600 and see what happens. GL

          If it's the old RA, it might be trying to run on a resolution that's too LOW for your monitor. I don't know how to fix though, sorry.

            I used to have the same problem. Changing your refresh rate will fix it, as stated previously.
