If I were to burn a video file onto a DVD-R and play it on my DVD Player, what format would I have to put it in?

    Short and Sweet answers please?

        Use WinAVI Video Converter.
It converts avi files to the file needed for DVDs. You might want to obtain the full version though, because it will only let you do 15 minutes worth in the trial.

Out of all the programs I've used for burning/converting divx-xvid-mp4-mpeg video onto DVD-Rs Nero Vision has been the best and most reliable app.

So you're converting a .swf Flash animation, try converting it to DVD with that program there, then burn that onto a disc
