Hey guys, I just helped my friend setup a RAID 0 using two SATA drives, and he wants to copy everything from his old SATA drive to the new SATARAID. The raid is made up of two 160gig drives, and his old sata drive is a 200gig drive.
He currently has winxp pro on the SATARAID drives, and winxp home on the other RAID drive. I was thinking norton Ghost, but I've never really tried transferring all data from one HD to another. XCopy and XCopy32 truncates filenames, and caused the sataraid to not boot up at all.
Is there a easy program or way to copy harddrives?
Also, if I have all 3 sata drives plugged in, the computer will always boot from the old SATA 200gig drive (xp home) as opposed to the SATARAID drives which have winxp pro. His old 200gig sata drive doesn't have the option to be switched to slave. How do I set the boot priority to the SATARAID drives after the data has been copied over?
Thanks for your help, all you comp wizs
