  • A couple sound recording questions

So my laptop has an internal recorder which I guess is okay but I also have this microphone that I've tried to set up and use. It's pretty old and I haven't had any luck with just plug-and-play and that's basically all I know how to do. Do I need to find drivers or something for this old piece of shit?

Second question, does anyone know of any good and free sound recording programs out there?
