    Fucking Games for Windows!

    So I've downloaded some games that has been connected with Games for Windows, and just used an offline account to get them working. On this offline account I have several save games on several games, including my GTA4 progress. However, I did buy GTA4 so I decided to try multiplayer, so I had to log on to my registered online account to do so. When I did this then this is the account I've been logged into by default in all games, but on this account I have no save games. Basically I lost all my save games in all my Games for Windows games for trying to log on to GTA4 online.

    Do anyone know if it's possible for me to log back on to my old offline profile with all the savegames?

    I'm easily never, ever buying anything linked with Games for Windows again. I really regret buying GTA4 and I wish I just pirated it. :/

    Can't you disconnect your internet connection and start up GTA 4 so you can logon into your offline profile ?

      It doesn't matter if I can get on the internet or not, all my save games is connected to the first offline profile I used. I just need to somehow get to log in to that offline profile again so that I can use the save games.

      On that note what the fuck are they thinking? Why make it so that you LOSE your saved progress in ALL your games when your profile is changed?

      This just shows that Microsoft is clueless when it comes to gaming.

        Yea, I've had all kinds of problems with "Games for Windows" too. I had to uninstall my anti-virus (BitDefender) to get it working.

          check these locations for saved file games ... not sure it's a stretch hopefully it backed up the profile or something before that or your old saved data file is accessible. i used someone elses saved game to get the characters unlocked in SF4 but it was all offline
