thinking about getting a new monitor
got a 1680x1050 20" LCD monitor but it's quite old and i've always hated the banding i get when dealing with black gradients , specially when watching DVDrips with alot of dark cloudy skys with moonlight etc...
so any quicky advice or stuff to read up ?unfortunately i dont have loads of cash but i want to get something decent and it will be used as a desktop pc and to watch films (mainly DVDrips) but not really much gaming or full HD but obviously i want that functionality and to future proof it a little. is 1920x1200 a big advantage over 1920x1080 ?
