I see. What OSX version are you using? I'm on the latest El Capitan and it works fine.

Also, try uninstalling continuum & reinstalling. Open the app w/o opening the wineskin and opening the app in the wineskin application. Once you put the app on the portingkit, it will run w/o needing to open the wineskin. Play around and let me know if this works.

make sure you get rid of the old client first, I suspect that article is out of date.

I tried client from trenchwars.org and got "not responding"

    http://wonko.com/post/how-to-run-continuum-on-a-mac

This is a great tutorial for a working version of Continuum on a MacBook Pro. I just bought the newest Retina yesterday and this version of Continuum is perfectly compatible with it. Personally, I see myself using this as a last resort if my other computer craps out, but it works like a charm and doesn't overheat the computer (my last cracked SS client burnt out the motherboard on my old Macbook after 4 years of overuse).

By the way, this should be sent to all players registered to the forum since I am positive there are players out there who have given up on trying to play SS on a Mac because they didn't think they were able to. You will see some players return simply because they received an e-mail notifying them that there is now a client they can use safely on their Mac.
