    Hello,
like most people i have my email adress on the Hotmail.com server BUT when i receive a mail there, that mail only is on the hotmail server and i want it to be in my outlook. So I configured my outlook and now i'm using outlook instead of going to www.hotmail.com to check my new mail BUT when i want to read my mails which are in my inbox (old mails from friends, gf, etc) it still has to connect to the hotmail server. How can i copy my mails from the server to my outlook?
    thx
I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal...

umm i think you have to pay them to give you a pop3 server or a stmp one not sure maybe thats yahoo... so you have to do it as that way so it recieves as emails not a webpage

I am fairly sure that what you are asking for isn't possible with HotMail's POP3 service thingy. You can only get new emails in OE.

A possible solution is to move the emails to your "normal" inbox (the first one).
Outlook downloads the email messages and put them there (they are off the hotmail server then). This isnt possible automaticaly with the message rules, but can be done manually

When downloaded and moved you can go offline and go read

In order to get it on Outlook, you have to pay (How typical of Microsoft). You have to pay like $29.95 USD a year for a load of crap. 2 GB for only a year?!?!? Who's gonna use all that space? If I bought my own server or domain, I could give myself unlimited!

So anyway, you gotta pay to get Outlook compatibility.
