The new mvp system is good, it allows other ships to be recognized and many a time it is because of the sharks or terr for getting a win. Also grown to like time race, it shortens bs games, makes it possible for any team to win when they get serious, makes holding base as more important (which strategically it should be), and it is something different for a change. Plus mvp system is pretty good with the equations in place, and don't give that bs that it is impossible for spiders to get mvp. Spiders still get something like 70-80% of the mvps still.

Now we WILL have squads that want to play ie. a lineup that goes 2 2 1, but on the other hand we will have Spastilag that WILL play up with 5 spiders...And cram goes on. Time race doesn't change the style other than you can attack a cram without losing points, unless you are one of the spiders that started basing last season you must love any change that discourages the cram.
It's way better than changing the map.

I agree I didn't see the no-limit coming. I thought the limitation was a good thing. Nonetheless I think that the 5-spiderline isn't what made the strength, it was more the cram they used that did. Still I think it would be a good thing to put in the new lanc or enforce 4-spider limit.

I think between the increased spawning time which makes it harder to consistantly team with ur sharks when facing a good jav + the implemation of Time race weakens the cram. Every time i watch pallies and a few times it was diso i believed and A-s once they played Line instead of cram. Sure u'll always have those teams who cram and never line but i do think that those 2 factors weakend the cram to some extent. I also think the Time race makes it more valuable for a jav or a wb who kills the terr alot. Its not about points which is what spiders get u, its about Terr kills nowdays which is what wb/jav get u.

As for the time race, i personaly dont care what system we use nowdays. Its no use in argueing over it. The time race does cut down the time u play vs shizzy squads or when ur getting blown out, buti am a fan of old things and keeping things the same, especialy when nothing was really wrong with it cept maybe a few rules/map change. I would of also liked to been able to vote for it if it would of been possible, but this is what basing evolved into i guess so this is what we have to deal with. I do believe tho that this close to TWL whatever method is used in TWL should be now implimented in TWD. No more testing.

As for the MVP thing. Yes the new method seems stupid to some ppl bc its new. Just like time race seems stupid to others of us bc its new. U'll get use to it. U cant have the spider with the most points winning mvp with Points have nothing to do with winning the game anymore. Although maybe if u did that u'd have more aggressive play. I highly doubt but either way i think with a new system in place u need a new system for MVP even if it seems stupid.

Time race pwns. You cant use the *cough*cripples*cough* hidecheat. You actually need to get flag what is and has always been what base is all about. To defend flag. Learn to play the way they give us.

I agree with all the reasons posted here about time race being better than timed game.

Also, I've been thinking that the 5 spider max might be unnecessary after all, terr kills are so more valuable than points nowadays.

I think this new MVP system will be awesome, if it just gets tweaked a little more.

Change is always a good thing, so our zone doesn't seem stale and stagnant. Every season of TWL changes a bit here and there, and it might even change the winning formula for the TWLB champs. If you look back at it, it'll just be another phase.
