Hmm, just by posting it on the forums does not in itself make it desperate. So when DG put in its forums that its invite only(thereby saying its recruiting status) make it desperate? This was just a way to tell everyone their recruiting status seeing as they dont have a forums for themselves.

dragonguard is not invite only. in fact, i'd vager that 80% of their members asked to join for whatever reason, and that 80% of the people they invite turn them down. There is no such thing really as a 'recruiting status'.

I'm only posting this here so anyone on the forums who doesn't have a squad can give a look over here. Desperate? no. Does Pepsi or Microsoft advertize because they are so desperate for business? No, they're perfectly fine financially. Its just advertizement, its business.

DragonGuard would invite you too awesome, but unfortunately, we only have room to take the good players from your squad. Maybe in a few years and about ten name changes later you can have the honour of playing for us.

Most squads just let half good players join or even "Bad" players.
I remember when Ancients started, Spiderhate their name was. Like every player who wanted could join. Then they dissolved Spiderhate and created <Ancients> or >ancients< and then Ancients and they kicked like everyone and kept the "good" players :P and now they're not such a bad squad

Recruitment on my squad is open to anyone with a good personality foremost.

Skill is only transitory, or ever-changing.

Though personality can be changed too, but its alot harder to change...then to improve someone's skill in the game.

Personality is #1 in my books.

It's not a big deal?
Don't argue with Awesome, it's just pointless, and it gets you no where.

For one, recruiting for fun squads is fine. It looks like Repletion is a "fun" squad that just plays for fun, while DragonGuard plays for competition.

Repletion has sent the message out that they are recruiting, it's not that big of a deal?
Let players play the game their own way.
